welcome to my first installment of MAD (Make a Difference) Monday!
each week i’ll be profiling a child that needs sponsorship through Compassion International who has been waiting 6 months or longer for sponsorship.
this is Angie. she lives in Honduras. Honduras holds a special place in my heart because of my church’s efforts to begin a medical mission there in the coming months. some people from our congregation are moving there to begin work with people who actually live on a trash heap near Tegucigalpa, the capital city.
Angie helps in her home by carrying water, running errands and cleaning. She lives with her father and her mother. Her father is sometimes employed as a laborer and her mother is sometimes employed as a laborer. There are 2 children in the family.
Singing, playing with dolls and playing group games are Angie’s favorite activities. In kindergarten her performance is average and she also regularly attends church activities and Bible class.
Because of your sponsorship, Angie will have new opportunities to learn and grow physically, mentally, and spiritually. Thank you for your concern and prayers.
let’s make a difference TODAY and get this little girl sponsored! $32 each month will make an enormous difference in Angie’s life.
thanks to my pal Pastor T for the idea 🙂
