i just watched my tivo’d copy of the olympic closing ceremonies.
i thought it was pretty darn boring. the only redeeming factor was jimmy page, and that part left a lot to be desired. it’s amazing the difference that an unlimited number of government sponsored/enforces slave laborers can make when it comes to production..
i thought this dude was hilarious. it’s boris johnson, the mayor of london. he looks like a cross between gary busey and the guy from dumb and dumber. watching him waving the olympic flag was classic. what a dork!
and, just in case you’re reading, leona lewis, please don’t butcher any more zep songs.

As a Brit, I can see how he came across to the world, Boris has the style of a bumbling oaf however it is a persona cleverly crafted and maintained. Over here he is admired by some and ridiculed by most; highly intelligent and with an impressive pedigree (he can trace his ancestry back to George II) he is purely a politician with a character you either love or hate.
As a Christian, I pray for him too!!

Thanks for the comment.. I think its undeniable that Boris has a tough job. London is a vibrant city with loads of history and problems like any other metropolis. I don’t know enough about English politics to know whether or not I like his stance, but I do know he’s entertaining to watch! Boris just seems like a cartoon character.
And rest assured that I am praying for him too. I remember what the Olympics did to Atlanta.. I’m not only praying for Boris but for all Londoners!!
